If you’re a cardholdercontroller or company controller, you can permanently cancel a card (whether it’s been activated or not) by changing its status to “Customer closed” on the online platform or by contacting us.


To change a card’s status to “Customer closed” on the online platform:


  1. Sign into your Equals Spend account via our website
  2. On the left-hand navigation, select “Cards”
  3. Click on “Card list” and choose the relevant card number. If you can’t see the card, you can type the user’s name in the search box and click “Filter”
  4. Tap on the drop-down arrow towards the bottom of the page under “Status”
  5. Choose “Customer closed” and confirm by selecting “Change status”
